A learning organisation built for clear, practical business education

Fj Holding ApS delivers structured business strategy and professional development education for participants across Canada. Our programmes are designed for online participation, guided practice, and methodical learning.

Why Fj Holding ApS was started

Fj Holding ApS was established in 2019 to make business education feel less abstract and more usable. Many learning programmes explain strategy or leadership as ideas, but leave participants without a concrete output they can take back to their workplace. The founding intent was simple: teach a framework, then guide participants to produce something tangible from it.

Over time, the programme catalogue grew into six core tracks covering strategy fundamentals, leadership routines, organisational effectiveness, project planning, professional communication, and long-horizon growth habits. The approach remains consistent: clear definitions, practical templates, and assignments that create artefacts such as a one-page strategy brief, a risk register, a stakeholder map, or a decision log.

Delivery is designed for online participation across Canada. That geographic focus shapes how we teach: the materials need to be self-explanatory, workshop time must be purposeful, and every exercise should work for different industries without pretending there is a one-size-fits-all playbook.

Our learning philosophy

The teaching model is built around repeatable structure. A concept is introduced with plain-language definitions and a short example, then participants practise using a template that mirrors real work. That means the same tools show up across programmes: a stakeholder map when discussing strategy alignment, a decision log when discussing trade-offs, a simple risk register in project planning, and meeting hygiene checklists for leadership and communication topics.

We also teach the “why” behind the tools, not only the “how”. For example, a RACI-style role clarity exercise is used to reduce ambiguous handoffs, not to create bureaucracy. A weekly review cadence is taught to stabilise priorities and reduce rework, not to fill calendars. The aim is calm operational clarity: fewer assumptions, better documentation, and clearer next steps.

Assessment is formative rather than performative. Guided assignments are meant to help participants build confidence with frameworks and language. They are not an exam and they are not a promise of career advancement. When certificates of completion are provided, they reflect participation and learning activity within the programme.

Structured learning

Clear modules, weekly outcomes, and a consistent format so participants can focus on understanding rather than navigation.

Practical outputs

Assignments produce artefacts such as briefs, decision logs, workflow maps, and communication checklists that can be adapted to different workplaces.

Guided discussion

Workshop sessions focus on terminology, assumptions, and trade-offs so participants can apply frameworks with fewer blind spots.

Continuous improvement

Materials are refined based on clarity checks and participant feedback, with a focus on plain language and useful examples.

Professional standards and values

Fj Holding ApS is built around five values that keep programmes useful and responsible. Educational excellence means content is organised, readable, and supported by examples that reflect real coordination work. Professional integrity means we describe education honestly: the site does not promise employment, business success, financial results, or guaranteed career outcomes. Accessibility means the learning design supports participants across Canada, including distance participation and clear written guidance. Continuous learning is taught as a habit—small, consistent review cycles rather than occasional bursts. Practical application keeps the focus on outputs and methods that can be repeated on Monday morning.

We also keep boundaries clear. Programme discussions may mention budgeting vocabulary, prioritisation, or operating metrics, but the content is not personal financial advice and does not replace professional services. Participants remain responsible for decisions, implementation, and outcomes in their own context.

Supporting learners across Canada

Online participation is more than video calls. To keep cohorts on track, modules are written to stand on their own, with short instructions, defined outcomes, and examples that show what “good” looks like. Workshop time is used for questions, vocabulary alignment, and troubleshooting common implementation issues—like unclear scope statements, drifting meetings, or missing ownership in handoffs.

Organisations can request a tailored pathway. The tailoring process stays lightweight: we gather context, identify the operating cadence and decision points that matter, then adapt exercises to match internal terminology. The goal is relevance without turning education into consulting theatre.

Team

The team below represents core roles used to design, deliver, and support Fj Holding ApS programmes. Bios focus on educational responsibilities rather than public profiles. For specialist contributors supporting programme content, see the Specialists page.

Mette H., Program Director (MSc)

Mette has spent 11 years designing adult learning programmes with a focus on clear outcomes and workable templates. Her specialty is turning abstract strategy language into exercises that produce a one-page brief, a stakeholder map, or a decision log. She is known internally for ruthless clarity in definitions and for removing “management theatre” from course materials. Outside work, she keeps a paper notebook of examples collected from everyday coordination problems.

Jonas L., Learning Design Lead (PgCert)

Jonas has 9 years of experience building online-first learning journeys, especially for distributed cohorts. He focuses on module pacing, assignment instructions, and the small details that prevent drop-off: examples, checklists, and crisp “definition first” writing. He is known for stress-testing content on different devices and for making sure every exercise can be completed without hidden assumptions. He collects prompts and reflection questions that help learners explain their decisions, not just repeat terminology.

Sara N., Participant Support Manager (BA)

Sara has worked for 8 years in learner support and programme coordination. Her specialty is the operational side that keeps cohorts running: scheduling, response workflows, and making sure questions reach the right facilitator quickly. She is known for pragmatic, plain-language guidance and for setting expectations early—what the programme includes, what it does not, and how to prepare for workshops. She keeps a library of short troubleshooting notes for common issues such as unclear project scope or missing role ownership.
